Last Thursday, we hosted our Spring 2026 Economic Dinner at the University Club of Michigan State University.

The evening brought together great company, engaging conversation, and a look at today's economic landscape from our CEO and Founder, Eric Waggoner. Guests enjoyed refreshing drinks and a sweet finish courtesy of the MSU Dairy Store, a fitting touch for a spring evening in Michigan.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. These gatherings are a reminder of why the conversations we have outside the office matter just as much as the ones inside it.

We are excited to welcome Ben to the Waggoner team!

Ben joins us as an Investment Research Staff member, where he focuses on research and analysis to support the firm’s investment strategies. Known for his curiosity about markets and the companies that drive them, Ben combines financial insight with a strategic perspective to help identify opportunities and support informed investment decisions.

Ben earned his degree in Finance from Michigan State University. He was also part of Waggoner’s inaugural intern class before gaining experience in business valuation at KPMG.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys golf, skiing, traveling, basketball, and exploring new cuisines.
