We're closed this Thursday for Thanksgiving, so Wayfaring Booksellers's last two days open are Friday, 11/28 and Saturday, 11/29!! We'll be there 11 am to 6 pm both days, and we'd love it if you stopped by to see us.

These last four years have meant the absolute world to us. It's been such a privilege to be a part of a community as wonderful as the one we've found in Lansing. This bookstore is a dream that we've shared for such a long time and making it into reality required all of your support — which means more than we could possibly say.

Thank you to everyone who has visited our store, whether it was to buy a book (or many) or just to share encouragement and love. And thank you to the Lansing bookstore community! It's been a blast hosting Book Crawls and Lit Fests with all of you, 📚 Lansing readers are in good hands.

New chapters can be scary, but we're both excited for what the future holds. And again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you all for being a part of this journey with us. We love you.

The spookiest day of the year is tomorrow! We'll be CLOSED tomorrow, 10/31, to celebrate Halloween with our loved ones. We're here until 5 pm today and we'll be back again on Saturday, 11/1! 👻

A Nightmare Off Elm Street starts now! Stop by Wayfaring Booksellers and join our haunted bookstore scavenger hunt--find a paper ghost cutout hidden around the store, win the prize written on the back! Anyone who shows up in costumes also gets 13% off their purchase today, and we'll be handing out candy for REO Town business trick-or-treating from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Then join us over at StageOne on Lake Lansing Road at 8 pm as we sling books with our friends over at Quality Scary! I'll be taking on one of my early movie traumas, Freddy Vs. Jason, AND we get to watch the debut of Quality Scary's Wrasslin' League, where two of their fiercest warriors will battle it out.

TOMORROW, Saturday 10/25: It's the spoooookiest night of the year in REO Town as we celebrate another Nightmare Off Elm Street!

All treats, no (or maybe some) tricks--visit REO Town Marketplace for Freddy's Farmers Market to shop with local vendors, get a free pumpkin, and join in on some fun carnival games!

Visit Wayfaring Booksellers for: 13% off your purchase when you show up in costume (same at Vintage Junkies and Deadtime Stories Books & Gifts) all day & REO Town business trick-or-treating from 1 pm to 5 pm (full list of participants in the event page linked below).
