The President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, is from the *Bahima clan*, which is a subgroup of the Ankole people ¹. The Bahima are traditionally cattle herders and are known for their rich cultural heritage. Museveni has often spoken proudly of his Bahima roots and has used his platform to promote the interests of his community.
