Good morning everyone, hope all is well and Happy Friday Eve 🌞

Yesterday, I was invited to speak at the We The People Housing Justice Rally at the Capitol. I spoke about how housing is a human right and we must do everything possible to make it more affordable, as well as the work we've already done funding Detroit's Right To Counsel program in hopes of expanding it statewide 🙏🏾

Also, we finally got a bill number for our MOST PRO-PEOPLE & PRO-UNION Community Solar legislation in the nation (HB 6041) aka Affordable Community Clean Energy Savings and Solar Act (ACCESS) 💙

Our bill will GUARANTEE at least 20% savings for low-income households and 10% savings for all others, as well as create real labor standards and ensure community ownership over our clean energy future.
