Introduction for our next meeting’s presenter and personal health literacy expert.

My name is Ryan Jenkins. I’m a former Eastside resident, and current home-owner living on Lansing’s Southside. I earned my Bachelors degree in Psychology at Michigan State University and now work for Michigan’s department of Health and Human Services as a Disease Intervention Specialist investigating HIV and syphilis within Ingham and its surrounding counties. In addition to the decade of experience I have as an HIV+ individual, I have worked in the sexual health field for over 4 years. I am excited to discuss the intersection of sexual health and financial literacy and I hope to provide a budget-conscious, destigmatized path towards long-term sexual health.
