Meet Apple Jacks! 🐾
This handsome boy has had a rough start and is still learning that people are safe — but he is making incredible progress and is looking for his perfect forever home.
Jacks needs:
✔ At least one other playful dog (his confidence booster!)
✔ A securely fenced yard (he’s still leash training)
✔ No young children
✔ Patient adults ready to give him several months to fully decompress
Here’s the good stuff: Jacks is a fast learner. He’s already crate trained, nearly fully potty trained, and takes social cues beautifully from other dogs. In his foster home he went from terrified to accepting pets from both humans within days. He’ll now calmly hang out in the same room and park himself between his people during evening TV. Cuddles feel close!
Oh — and this boy is WILD for hot dogs and rotisserie chicken. He takes treats gently from your hand like a total gentleman.
Jacks isn’t going to be an overnight success story, and that’s okay. He is going to be someone’s whole heart. Is that someone you?

You have the power to change a life—foster our girl Toaster now!
Our team is visiting a shelter in Georgia and check out Toasters story below 👇
Toaster was sadly abandoned and no one knew what happened to her owners. Luckily she had a community member watching out for her and filling up her bowl and water dish when they could. Then they called animal control as they realized Toaster was unclaimed and not being taken care of properly 😢
Animal control officers scooped her up and brought her to the shelter. At intake Toaster was scared, unsure and terribly skinny.
She has been slowly gaining weight the last few weeks and loving the consistent care by shelter staff but would love to be in a foster home.
Toaster doesn’t need a perfect home. She needs a consistent one. She needs someone to fill her bowl on purpose, not out of pity.
Fostering her doesn’t require a long commitment or a special setup. It just requires opening a door and letting her in.
Check out where Toaster was found and notice the likely permanent fly bites on her poor legs and paws 😔
If you can foster Toaster, please visit our website for an adoption application. Unable to foster or adopt - like, share, comment our post and help us spread the word on Toaster.
