I never thought I would be here. Thank you for the opportunity to change my life.

Unpopular opinion: I loved law school. Maybe I’m biased— I ended up here on the heels of a rough season of life. I loved doing the work- no boss, no employees, a break from the emotional labor that comes with a job. Law school had a way of making all of my problems come to the surface (idk if it was like that for everyone) and I had the space and energy to deal with them. I got to reconnect with myself. It’s been… healing.

Maybe in hindsight I’ll have better words to describe it, but for now, I’m so grateful.
