So I’ve been really late with my updates on here this race season but here is a quick recap from last weekend. We entered the NHRA D1 Regional Event that Maplegrove held since Atco closed the doors and we entered to run Super Comp in the yellow dragster. We were mainly trying to get the car dialed in for when Lindsay Danko starts driving. We fought through some issue, bad fuel regulator and tried slowing the car down enough to run 8.90’s. Going into first round we staged against Tom Stalba and I knew it would take a good package to put a win light on and although I tried I gave it away on the starting line going -.001 red. That opened the door to head to Island Dragway on Sunday to drive Bob Hill’s Fiat in some match races. First run there everything went text book except me putting the chutes out a little late 😬 and on the second run coming out of the burnout we had an engine failure. We will get rebuilt and see you at a track soon!

Come out and support us and our home drag strip Maple Grove Raceway this Sunday for the Geezers event! I will be piloting the Bustin Loose blown Fiat of Bob Hill again in some match race fun against a fast Mike Geroni in his beautiful blown Fiat! I would like to say a BIG thank you to Bob for trusting me in putting the win light on in his lane for this race.

Only 2 races into our 2023 race season and it has been a very busy 2023 season already. Luck has not gone our way to say the least. We haven’t made it out of 1st round and out of the total 6 qualifying runs so far we have only made it down the track for half of them. We are making some changes before we go back out to the track and keeping fingers crossed they are the correct positive changes. From running lean, melting plugs, burning a piston, blowing a head gasket, torching a cylinder it has been a lot of work. I have had this motor apart more times in these 2 races then my last 4 season put together. I do not want to break any major parts causing downtime on the track with a mistake so I have decided to sit out of the Lebanon Valley Dragway Regional event this weekend and we hope to put on a better showing at the Numidia Dragway race in 5 weeks. We will update before that. Our sponsors, friends and family deserve a better showing than we have put on in 2023. See you at the track soon!
