Prime numbers are fascinating. Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the discovery of largest prime number known to man. If you start counting the digits today, you should be done in about a year and a half. 🤣

2025 has arrived and it’s a square year with some unique mathematical properties. In addition, the digital root is 9, which makes it extra special. So I think we should all invest in a math clock to remind ourselves daily that we’re living in a very special year. 🤣

I found a nice concept map and a mind map that try to capture all the branches of mathematics and thought it’d be fun to do an informal survey to see which branch of math is the most popular. Which branch is your favorite?
