Our CROP Hunger Walk is coming up on Oct 8 at Lancaster United Methodist!

Five years ago, CWS got to know Pestel municipality in Haiti after Hurricane Matthew hit. Through your steps, we helped to rebuild schools and houses after the storm, and we're proud to say that all of them withstood the earthquake that shook Haiti earlier this year.

Due to the earthquake, along with the additional challenges of political unrest and economic turmoil, the students in Pestel have gone through a lot these past few years. That's why we offered psychosocial support to students so they could talk about their mental health.

139 students participated in this program, and we're planning similar workshops in nine other schools across Pestel, along with training sessions for teachers to be better equipped to support their students.
