The Bookmobile made a very special pitstop in Lancaster County Park to celebrate a massive local milestone: The Conestoga River is PA's 2026 River of the Year! Turns out, a good book pairs perfectly with a babbling brook.

Let’s GO! 🧭 The Get Outdoors (GO) Lancaster hiking program officially kicks off on June 1st!

The Library System of Lancaster County has partnered with Wellspan Health to offer one exciting summer-long adventure. It’s completely FREE, totally family-friendly, and the perfect way to explore the beautiful parks and trails of Lancaster County.

How it works:
1. 🎒 Pick up your official rubbing log at your local library or sign up on Beanstack starting June 1st.

2. 🌳 Hit the trails and hunt for the hidden posts.

3. 🗺️ Track your progress and earn cool prizes for kids along the way!

The adventure begins June 1st, see you on the trail. 🥾

We are so excited to bring a brand new Bookmobile stop at the Leola Pool this summer! Look for us parked up by the pavilions on the 4th Monday of each month (through August) from 4-5:30pm!
