British sports-car specialist Caterham is looking to the golden age of racing with a new limited-edition roadster. The Caterham Seven HWM Edition pays tribute to the historic HWM-Alta once driven by legendary racer Stirling Moss. Just 19 examples will be produced, each finished in a custom HWM green derived from a scan of the original race car and fitted with vintage-inspired details inside and out. Beneath the retro styling sits a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 210 horsepower, which is more than enough in a machine that weighs well under a ton. The result is a featherweight roadster capable of hitting 60 mph in 3.8 seconds while honoring one of the most romantic eras of British motorsport.
