One of the next installments to the Backup Superhero series focuses on Tanser Girl's beginning as a superhero. And on her first day, her hero shatters her perfect illusion of the superhero league:

“We handle the donors and the press. I just—listen, this isn’t how I made this league to be. It’s just always been this way. The lower tiers are for the grunt work, the important stuff. And the Level A’s handle the vanity of it all,” Cavillo explained. “Every super gets it into their head that they will get it all, but that’s far from the truth.”
