Yesterday was the first day of summer, and honestly, I couldn't be happier. ☀️

If I could choose one place to escape to over and over again, it would be the beach. Give me the sound of crashing waves, salty air, sandy toes, and a good book, and I'm set. I swear a piece of my heart belongs somewhere in the ocean.

But while I can't spend every day at the shore, one of my favorite things about summer is slowing down enough to enjoy the little moments at home. Sprinklers in the backyard. Popsicles on the porch. Bare feet in the grass. Water balloon fights. The ordinary moments that somehow become the memories we miss most later.

That's exactly why I love my at-home summer sessions. They aren't about perfect outfits or picture-perfect houses. They're about preserving this season as it really is—the laughter, the chaos, the traditions, and the magic that's already happening right in your own backyard.
