Ayesha did not become a diva. She arrived that way. 👑

From tiny kitten to gorgeous adult, she has always had the face, the presence, and the personality.

Ayesha was adopted as a kitten, but was later returned to us due to behavior issues. She is one of our special permanent residents now, and she will always be safe, loved, and cared for here.

We are happy to continue serving her dramatic little heart.

We are also so grateful to all of you who donate and support Ruff Patches. Because of you, cats like Ayesha always have a place to land, even when life does not go as planned.

Your support helps us care for animals who need extra patience, understanding, and lifelong sanctuary.

Please enjoy Ayesha’s tiny-to-diva transformation with us.

The Ruff Patches Adoption Committee has officially convened for California Adopt-a-Pet Day. All adoption fees are waived!

Their agenda includes snacks, naps, productivity supervision, gentle mayhem, exploration, playtime, emotional support, and the occasional extremely important chaos.

Our adoptable cats are not just looking for any home. They are looking for the right home.

Connor, Caitlyn, Bereet, Jean Grey, Watson, Sherlock, and Castiel all have different personalities, needs, and love languages. Some need a quiet space. Some need a buddy. Some need patient people who understand that trust can take time. Some are ready to bring the fun.

All of them deserve to be seen for exactly who they are.

So today, we want to know:

Which Adoption Committee member would fit best in your home?

Tell us in the comments, and visit RuffPatches.org/adoptions to learn more about our adoptable cats.

Happy 4th birthday, Watson! 💛

Watson is celebrating another trip around the sun with his usual calm, sweet, slightly mysterious energy.

He enjoys lounging in sunny spots, play sessions, head rubs, snack-based enrichment, and pretending he is far too dignified for nonsense while absolutely participating in the nonsense.

Watson came to Ruff Patches after showing up at a volunteer’s door, and he has been waiting for the right home to find him.

He would love a calmer home where he can relax, feel safe, and be appreciated for the gentle, handsome guy he is.

Happy birthday, Watson. We hope 4 is the year your forever family finds you.

Tiny jobs they take very seriously:

Keeping beds warm.
Supervising breakfast.
Inspecting blankets.
Monitoring human morale.
Reminding us why we do this.

Some of the animals at Ruff Patches are adoptable. Others are forever residents who need long-term safety, care, and a place where they can simply be themselves.

And honestly? They may be doing tiny jobs, but they fill this house with a whole lot of love.

Tiny jobs. Big hearts.
