Blue Rock Fire Rescue - Station 907 - Washington Boro

Multiple units assisted Manor Township Police Department with a search for a missing person on the Susquehanna River on Tuesday. Volunteers worked on scene for approximately 4 hours, locating the subject in the early afternoon. Assisting on scene was Rescue Company 905, Blue Rock Fire Rescue - Station 903 - Highville, Conestoga Fire Company, Columbia Borough Fire Department Station 80 and Wrightsville Fire & Rescue Company 41. As our volunteers were just starting training for the evening, the Engine Company was alerted to the area of River Road and Pittsburgh Hill Road for a foggy rollover vehicle accident with Blue Rock Fire Rescue - Station 903 - Highville. Thankfully the driver was able to get out of the vehicle and walk away without injury. Crews remained on scene to help control hazards and clear the roadway until the tow company arrived.
