I was grateful to attend our recent ABWA-Penn Square July meeting and hear from featured speaker Yenma Herb, of RKL, LLP, who shared an encouraging message on “Progress Over Perfection: Betting on You.”

One of my biggest takeaways was this: You don’t have to feel completely ready before taking the next step. Sometimes growth begins when we stop waiting for the perfect moment, take a chance, and simply get started.

Yenma also reminded us of the importance of meaningful connections, finding your tribe, using the resources around you, and staying curious along the way.

Today, we proudly celebrate 250 years of America—honoring the courage, sacrifice, resilience, and hope that have shaped our nation since 1776. 🇺🇸

May we remember those who came before us, appreciate the freedoms we enjoy, and continue working together toward a future filled with unity, opportunity, and hope for generations to come.

💚 Wellness is Better Together! 💚

One of my favorite things about my wellness journey is sharing it with friends. Today I had the pleasure of getting in a workout with my friend, Tracey Strohecker, and spending time in the EGYM at Universal Athletic Club.

As we get older, maintaining our strength becomes one of the most important investments we can make in our health. Strength training supports mobility, balance, bone health, metabolism, and overall quality of life—helping us stay active and independent for years to come.

You don’t have to be perfect. Just keep showing up, one workout at a time. 💪✨
