The woods were still this morning…calm, crisp, and full of promise. Then, about an hour after first light, it all came together.

After standing at 10 yards for what seemed like an eternity, he turned and walked straight away from us. At that moment, we both thought he would walk away never to be seen again. Once he got to 25 yards, he turned broadside offering a picture perfect opportunity for a shot. Christian drew his bow, steady and focused, just like he’s practiced all summer. One clean release, and the arrow found its mark!

Moments like this are what it’s all about! Time spent in God’s creation, lessons learned side by side, and watching the next generation of hunters grow in both skill and faith.
