In my 20’s, I believed something pretty simple:

💰 The one with the most money and stuff wins.

Achievement. Growth. Revenue. Expansion.
I was chasing impact — and if I’m honest — a little validation too.

In my 30’s and 40’s my perspective shifted:

📸 The one with the most memories wins.

Trips with Marisa. Watching our kids grow.
Celebrating wins with our Lapp Electric team.
Moments became more valuable than milestones.

But now… over 50?

🤝 The one with the most friends wins.

Not followers.
Not contacts.
True Friends.

The kind who call you out and call you up.
The kind who show up.
The kind who walk through seasons with you.

Money is a tool.
Memories are treasures.
But friendships? That’s enduring legacy.

As we grow, our definition of “winning” should grow too.

This week — invest in people.
Encourage someone.
Reach out.
Build something that lasts longer than a balance sheet.

That’s real wealth.
