Yesterday a friend and I went for a walk together. We were a block outside of Wilton Manors. (Basically a block outside of gay ground zero.)

A guy drove past a screamed “f&ggot$” out of his window.

I wish I could say I’m shocked. I’m just not.

For those of you that think it’s 2024 - it’s different now, it’s not. For those that think it’s 2024, no one cares, they do.

We have one side that has been encouraged and riled up to spew hate for years now. Anti-gay hate. Anti-trans hate. Anti-women hate. Anti-equality hate. Racist hate. Anti-religious freedom hate. Those are the voices that make people feel entitled to shout “f&ggot$” out of the window.

This dialogue that Biden is somehow the lesser of two evils is simply insanity. Wake up folks. Put down the koolaid.

Here is a man that, as president, has accomplished more in his term than any other president in my lifetime. A man from working class roots. An honest man. A good man. A hero.

Versus a hate-filled, entitled facist wannabe felon. Really folks. We’re going to compare them?

A man who brags he overturned Roe v Wade. A man who will brag when marriage equality is overturned - mark my words. A man who bragged about separating children from the parents. A man that bragged about a Muslim ban. Is our memory so short?? Need to be grabbed by the pu$$y again to remember?!?

If you honestly think these men are comparable, get off my page. Get out of my life. Your fallacy has, and will continue to, invite hate and harm in to this world.

Get out folks. Get registered. Vote. Vote on behalf of me. Vote on behalf of your own dignity and honestly. Vote on behalf of women, of folks of color, of trans folks, of children, of religious freedom.
