The secret to sleepy newborn photos? Keep them warm. Like, really warm. Newborns are used to the cozy warmth of the womb, so recreating that environment during their session helps them stay calm, settled, and sleepy. I’m talking space heaters, pre-warmed blankets, and a room that feels almost too warm for the adults in the room.

Feed your little baby in a warm space before the session, keep them swaddled until we’re ready, and trust that the warmer they are, the more peaceful and dreamy those photos will be. Warmth equals sleep. Sleep equals magic✨
