Since my cats love laying on my crochet, I thought I'd make them a "cat couch". Patchwork colors from yarn scraps over a foam form. Placed in the living room window that gets lots of afternoon sun. And the first taker is my big boy, Cirrus. Creating is keeping me focused right now.

I've seen various versions of "Santaur" floating around the internet the last couple of years. Most are either glass or ceramic. I have no idea who the originator is. So shout out to whoever you are, and I will edit this post if that information appears to give credit where credit is due. This is my crochet interpretation. It will be going out in the mail this week (after I remove my cat's contributions) as a gift to a friend who once mentioned she liked them. The eyes are unakite stones, which seemed fitting as they represent joy and gratitude.
