A mosquito pool in Lowndes County has tested positive for Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE). The Georgia Department of Public Health’s South Health District wants to remind all South Georgians to prioritize mosquito bite prevention this summer as it is the best way to avoid mosquito-borne illnesses.
