Talk about your hair history and give HONEST hair color history, bc THERE IS NOTHING like lightening(aka bleaching) your hair to find out u had box dye but u did not tell your hairstylist that. When this happens, the whole entire service has to change including your expectations of us. That’s why communication is key to getting the hair u want.

Also, find a hairstylist u like, trust her, listen to her, bc we are trying to help u and want the best for u.

And although we want to give u that perfect hair on the first session, it’s not going to happen esp if u want a lot of details added to your hair AND/OR if u have done your hair at home or someone else has done it.

OR last thing, if u haven’t had your hair colored in 6+ months.
