This is one of my all time favorite thrift finds! Who remembers Chrissy? This Ideal Chrissy doll was produced in 1969. I was two years old then and had one of the original models with the orange dress just like this one. I remember spending hours styling her hair and changing her outfits! This Chrissy is a 1969 model and she is in used, but wonderful, condition! Her arms and legs move as intended AND her hair can still be lengthened via the button on her tummy or shortened via the k**b on her back. Her hair is amazingly beautiful with no tangles! It’s unusual to find a 54-year-old doll in such great shape! Her dress has seen better days though—the photos show where there is some soiling near the back snaps. Also the two top snaps need replacing. Her waistband and underarm has been mended and needs further mending. If you wore the same dress for 54 years, it would probably need a little TLC too! 😆 $32 + shipping or pick up in Lake Jackson, TX. Comment sold to claim.
