IT'S BEEF TIME!! We are taking beef orders for 2026. As always, COLORADO proud grass fed/GRAIN finished Choice Grade Beef. Same amazing Rancher (Cortese Ranch) partnered with same awesome Meat Cutter (Troy Crippen). We have beef available now through the end of July. Cost is $6.99/lb (hanging weight). $300 deposit for 1/4; $400 Deposit on 1/2; $800 deposit on whole.

*All cuts are now vacuum sealed!
*Avg hanging weight on 1/2 beef is 400 #, yield 200 #-220 # lbs.
*Please email or call with phone number if using PayPal to secure deposit.
*1/4 beef orders are standard cut (we split the 1/2 beef between 2 families so that both parties are getting the best benefit of the front and the rear of the beef)
*Prices subject to change pending Cattle market after 4/1/26

3rd Rifle Hunters: In order to accommodate the limited capacity available in our cooler, we will only be accepting previous customers starting 3rd season, on a very limited basis and by appointment only starting Monday Nov 10th. In addition, animals that are dirty or frozen with hide on will not be accepted. If you are an existing customer drop off hours Saturday Nov 8th are 8:30A to 4:00P, Sunday 8:30A-2P and By appointment starting Monday Nov. 10th, for animals already harvested.

I think we'll be okay opening weekend, but fill up fast after that. We will keep the voicemail (719) 748-5450 and website, www.crippensprocessing.com updated daily as we progress with space in the cooler.

Our regrets to inform our cooler is full and beyond capacity. We simply cannot keep up with the demand. We will start accepting again 3rd rifle, Sat Nov 8th. If you are a previous customer, you can 1/4, freeze and bring back to us in January.

Answers to many suggestions I hear:

We can not expand without completely relocating. We looked into it.
We have not found an EXPERIENCED, seasonal, local meat cutter per Troys expectations. He is extremely picky and the trade is a specialized one. We looked into it.
We will not purchase a bigger cooler. We can't keep up with what is in our cooler now and limited on space. We looked into it.
"Nobody cares, work harder" (Troy's favorite motto) We are working more hours than almost humanly possible. Troy gets up at 12:30AM - starts cutting by 1:30A. By 4P (closing time, he is exhausted). Folks, that is 7 days a week, 5 months straight. Our first day off is Thanksgiving. We looked into it.

Yes, we tried implementing new equipment. That has been helpful, but not as affluent as I'd hoped. We bought it.

We are going to keep on keepin on, and do our best to accommodate as many of our previous customers as possible at the best quality you've known and trusted for the last 14 years.

Folks, the time has come. With national beef prices going up, we're having to do the same to keep up. Our beef partner, Gary Cortese and Crippen's Processing have tried to hang on as long as possible, but the inevitable hit us. We still have 1/4, 1/2 and whole Grain finished, Choice Grade BEEF available!! While we can't guarantee another price increase, currently we are at $5.99/lb hanging weight. ($300 deposit on 1/4, $400 on 1/2, $800 on whole)
