Yes all the white ground you see around me is all Salt!

This is currently a public place and is famous for various world records in Land Speed driving!

Scouts Lookout is the view point just before the infamous Angels Landing patch on Zion National Park!

Scouts Lookout offers incredible views of the Canyon similar to Angels Landing but without the super scary adrenaline! We can say its best experience for people like me who are scared of steep drop offs & heights!

👉🏽West Rim Trail
👉🏽4mi round trip to Scouts Lookout
👉🏽Add 1mis roundtrip if doing Angels Landing patch (needs permit)
👉🏽 Hard due to approx 1000ft elevation
👉🏽 Shuttle stop: The Grotto

Trail starts crossing the river bridge followed by gradual elevation through paved path.
Little level out on Refrigerator Canyon (only shaded part) followed by the iconic Walter’s Wiggles a series of 21 switchbacks!

👉🏽Has stunning views of the Canyon throughout
👉🏽Don’t forget to carry water no filling station
👉🏽Please leave no trace behind you
