Everyone is trying to avoid hard.

But God never promised easy.

He promised that He would be with us.

Marriage is hard.
Divorce is hard.

Staying home with your babies is hard.
Leaving them every morning is hard.

Homeschooling is hard.
Public school comes with its own hard.

Building a business is hard.
Building someone else’s dream is hard.

Living paycheck to paycheck is hard.
Stewarding abundance well is hard.

Here’s the question…

Which hard is producing the fruit you’re praying for?

Because every choice costs you something.

The life God is calling you into will require sacrifice.
So will the life you’re trying to leave behind.

One sacrifice builds the Kingdom.
The other keeps you comfortable.

Jesus never said, “Take up your comfort and follow Me.”

He said, “Take up your cross.”

So stop asking God to make your path easier.

Ask Him to make you stronger.
Ask Him for wisdom.
Ask Him for courage.
Ask Him for the faith to choose the hard that leads to obedience instead of the easy that leads to regret.

You don’t get to avoid hard.

You only get to choose which hard you’ll live with.

Choose the one that leaves a legacy
