The Budget, Finance, and Economic Development Committee met to discuss the “Economic Revitalization After Maui Wildfires” (Agenda Item BFED—21(8)):
“The Committee discussed matters relating to economic revitalization in the aftermath of the August 2023 Maui wildfires.”
West Maui is opening up to tourism on 10/8; but many locals express their concerns as it is still too early.
