During the week, we are really committed to sticking to our routine, but come the weekend, one too many glasses of wine and some extra indulgences and all of a sudden you’ve had far too many calories, and guess what.. you’re back to square one!
Many of you find yourself on this perpetual cycle of "losing" and "gaining" the same lbs. We are here to validate that it's frustrating and defeating and can honestly be enough to make you want to just give up on your goals altogether-- or convince yourself that you'll "never lose this weight."
Something to think on: The results we get are directly linked to our behavior, and we have a choice in how this plays out.
We can either carry on doing things on the weekend that keep us from reaching our goals and ACCEPT that we are not going to make progress.
OR
We can make different decisions and take different actions and remain diligent and KNOW that we are on the path to progress and that our efforts will pay off!
Does that mean you can't indulge at all? Of course not! You can find balance! Learning to practice moderation is a big part of your health journey.
At the end of the day, it comes down to what is most important to you. You get to choose.
Spend some time asking yourself, “what am I choosing?” Likely the results you are getting will help guide you to answer that question.
