OPD Day 5
As Lena and I await our flight back to the US I realized I didn’t post our Day 5 information.

Day 5 was packed with the students’ final presentation: a compelling argument for FEU support on their cause. Two groups presented on the need for further development of cultural intelligence programs, two groups presented on the need for assistance with recruitment and retention of part time (volunteer) firefighters, and one group presented of the need for support of sustainable fire stations.

In 1988, I was diagnosed with a learning disability. I was frustrated, and my parents were worried about what my future might look like. Sound familiar?

Today, that frustrated kid helped facilitate a leadership program with participants from 15 different countries.
