These hands have seen tens of thousands of hours of practicing bodywork.
Hundreds of people have been under the broad, firm pressure of nurturing touch of these hands.
These hands have gently or wickedly or kindly eased tension from thousands of muscles, and hundreds of thousands of knots have been released, and coaxed away.
These hands have held tender hearts, and stubborn energetic blocks, and have listened to tissues that needed to whisper that what was really needing space was a feeling.

As this last leg of my practice unfolds, I am in awe. I am humbled that so many wonderful people have trusted me through the years. I am deeply grateful to have gotten to touch so many lives in so many ways.

//ENDING WELL//
While many people might think that a massage that goes forever sounds like a dream, in reality, there is a beauty to a session coming to an end when it feels complete. Going on past completion can aggravate not only the physical body, but the emotional, mental, and energetic bodies as well, thus undoing the magic of the session.
It is with this little story that I announce that The Connected Touch as a business is approaching her natural completion. I have been hearing whispers from my body and soul that it is time... much more and I will be undoing the magic of my past 15 years of bodywork practice. At the end of May, I will be stepping away. I will be keeping my regular days and hours through May 25th.
In effort to leave you all well, I am working to find quality massage therapists in the area to match my clients with. Beyond grateful to have had the honor of working with so many incredible people through the years πŸ’œπŸ™πŸΌπŸ’œ

A vulnerable share about cancellations.

I absolutely HATE them. Especially when they are last minute. Partially because I have already started to anticipate and look forward to being with your body and your energy. Partially because I'm not that huge a fan of change. And partially because one of the hardest things about being a solopreneur with a boundary wound is getting to hold true to policies when they could *potentially* upset (and consequently drive away) someone I really LOVE working on, which is my worst fear.

I understand that monkey wrenches and curveballs get thrown, best laid plans can fall apart, and life can get super life-y. And thank you for understanding that if that results in a cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be responsible for the charge. πŸ™πŸΌ

(If you or your kiddo is actively sick there is never a last minute cancellation fee)
