Homeopathy is not one-size-fits-all — and that is the point.

In homeopathic care, the name of a condition matters, but it is not the whole story.

Two people may come in with the same main concern, such as anxiety, but their lived experience of that anxiety may be completely different. One person may feel restless and overwhelmed. Another may shut down, withdraw, or feel limited in a different way.

Dr. Mike Knapp explains this beautifully in his latest video, sharing how even siblings with similar DNA, similar upbringing, and similar stressors may still need different homeopathic medicines.

Why?

Because homeopathy looks at the individual pattern.

That includes the diagnosis, but also the way symptoms show up, what makes them better or worse, how they affect daily life, and what is unique about the person.

At Pure Homeopathy, care starts with understanding the whole picture.

If you are curious about individualized homeopathic care, give the office a call. Dr. Mike is happy to help.

Homeopathy invites us to look deeper.

Rather than focusing only on the name of a condition, homeopathic care pays close attention to the whole person. Their symptoms, patterns, sensitivities, history, and the unique way their body expresses imbalance.

That individualized approach is part of what makes homeopathy so meaningful for many patients.

A homeopathic appointment is not rushed. It is a careful conversation that helps the practitioner understand what is happening on multiple levels: physical, emotional, and constitutional.

At Pure Homeopathy, we believe good care begins with listening.

What makes homeopathy different?

In this conversation, Dr. Mike Knapp and Dr. Lisa Amerine discuss "Homeopathy: Beyond Flat Earth Medicine", a book written to help patients better understand homeopathic medicine and how to get the most out of holistic care.

One of the key ideas they explore is perspective.

In a “flat earth” view of medicine, illness may be seen mainly through diagnosis, bad genes, bad luck, or isolated symptoms.

Homeopathy invites us to step back and look at the whole person.

That means paying attention to the details:

• What symptoms are present
• How they show up
• What makes them better or worse
• What patterns have been there over time
• How the body is expressing imbalance
• What makes this person’s case unique

Dr. Mike and Dr. Lisa also share examples of how specific, individualized symptoms can guide homeopathic prescribing — especially when the body is giving very clear information.

The goal of this conversation is to help patients understand how homeopathy works, why communication matters, and how individualized care differs from simply suppressing symptoms one at a time.

If you are curious about homeopathy or want to better understand the care we offer at Pure Homeopathy, this is a great place to start.

Homeopathy is rooted in a simple but powerful idea: the body has an innate ability to heal, and care should support that process as gently and individually as possible.

Rather than treating every person with the same complaint in the same way, homeopathy looks at the whole picture — physical symptoms, emotional patterns, triggers, timing, and what makes symptoms better or worse.

That individualized approach is one reason homeopathy has continued to be used around the world for generations.

At Pure Homeopathy, we believe thoughtful, whole-person care still matters.

Most men who reach out to me are still functioning.

They are working. Taking care of responsibilities. Getting through the day.

But they are tired all the time. Their sleep is not restorative. Their joints hurt. Their digestion has been off for years. They know something is not right, even if nobody has given them real answers.

That is not simply “getting older.”

I’m Dr. Mike Knapp, a naturopathic physician practicing classical homeopathy virtually. My focus is understanding the whole picture, not just managing symptoms one at a time.

If you are ready to look deeper, I would be glad to talk.
