Team Member Spotlight!
Meet Sasha - Registered Therapy Dog | Canine Good Citizen | Beloved Team Member at Collaborative Care
Sasha is a 3-year-old Irish Wolfhound and Standard Poodle mix who brings a gentle, calming presence to the therapy room. She is a registered therapy dog through Pet Partners and has earned her Canine Good Citizen certification through the American Kennel Club (AKC) — a reflection of her excellent manners, steady temperament, and ability to work with individuals of all ages.
Sasha and Arielle worked with dog trainer January Shaffer at Shaffer Dog Training and Boarding in Crawfordsville, to develop the skills and confidence that make her such a supportive and intuitive therapy partner.
Sasha works alongside, Arielle Tingle LMHC, at Collaborative Care, where she participates in in-office therapy sessions. Arielle has completed Level 1 Animal Assisted Play Therapy® training, and together, she and Sasha create a warm, welcoming, and emotionally safe space for healing and growth.
In addition to her work at Collaborative Care, Sasha also participates in community outreach visits through Pet Partners, spreading joy and comfort to people in a variety of settings.
When she’s off duty, Sasha enjoys relaxing with her furry family — her dog sister Daisy, an American Staffordshire Terrier, and her two feline brothers, Mittens and Benny.
With her soulful presence, calm demeanor, and intuitive nature, Sasha is a cherished member of the Collaborative Care team — always ready to lend a paw and offer comfort to those who need it most.
