Veterinary Nurse/Rockstar

Looking for a veterinary technician to join a new small animal practice. Position will be for a nurse that has a passion for the detail in pet care and yearns to grow their knowledge base. Roles include: Client communication in terms of answering phone, answering client questions; obtaining pet history and entering medical information/notes and charges (must be able to type); assist veterinarian in surgeries, anesthetic monitoring and routine exams (need to have a tough stomach); good restraint techniques for dogs and cats of ALL personalities (it's a plus if you are experienced in feline restraint), assist in administering medications to pets in hospital and assist in the pharmacy (must be able to count); cleaning duties (keep hospital clean like your own place), kennel cleaning, cleaning pet messes (with a smile on your face); walking dogs (many need assistance and may be large so need muscles). Our practice's culture will be based on providing a "low stress" environment to enhance patient recovery and treatment success and we are looking for that "Rockstar" nurse to aid in achieving this.

Requirements- 1 year minimum experience, excellent work ethic and great attitude

Hourly pay based on experience
