First race weekend recap at the Snyder Family Sportsman Classic 🏁

Overall, it was a great weekend at Pomona for my first time out with the dragster at an NHRA divisional race. Practice runs and time trials went well and the car showed a lot of promise, although we did have one bad run with a gremlin that popped up. We thought we had it chased down and fixed heading into eliminations.

Round one, the car and driver both did their jobs and we picked up the win. In round two, unfortunately the gremlin came back and got us right on the launch, ending our day a little earlier than we hoped.

That said, I couldn’t be happier. Not only did I compete in my first race with the dragster, but doing it at Pomona at an NHRA divisional race made it even more special.
