I wrote this song because I was angry at social media for holding my attention hostage in a digital dimension. 📲
I blamed this app for my habit of procrastination. I became so addicted to the quick fixes and instead of working hard on my dreams I kept coming back here for another lil snack. 🍰

I need to remember that social media is like junk food. Sure it can be tasty and pleasurable and I can indulge every once in a while… but It won’t satiate my hunger for a deep nourishment. How can I expect to find a healthy meal within the isle of processed food in colorful boxes?🧃

Let’s enjoy the meat and potatoes of life! Coming together and sharing nourishing experiences with community. Like this event where I had the opportunity to share my original songs in front of an incredibly supportive audience. 🧡
