After our meeting today, I’m sorry to say Swim Lessons are Canceled.

We just didn’t have the number of guards to run it safely each weekend. Most of the guards are involved in sports and other activities. I was hopeful of getting a minimum of 8 each Saturday but it isn’t going to be sustainable.

We will however be having
Open Swim starting this Sunday.
Hours-
Sunday 1-2 Adult lap swim 2-5 Open Swim
Monday 7-9
Wednesday 7-9
Cost $1 per person

We are going to start swim lessons on February 19th, however we will have less slots and times available due to the amount of staff.

Cost is $50… 5$ discount per kid in same family.
30 minute lessons
Saturdays Feb.19th - April 9th
Time slots available:
9:00 am - Levels 1,2, and 3
9:45 am - Levels 1,2 and 3
10:30 am - Levels 4,5, and 6
11:15 am - Catch all… May combine levels 1-2, 3-4, 5-6.

We have been given the go-ahead to run swim lessons this spring! We are currently working on staffing and plan to start lessons February 19th. More information will be posted soon.

Sign up will begin February 9th provided we get enough staff.

UPDATE:

Unfortunately, there won’t be any summer sessions of swim lessons this summer. Fall swim lessons are to be determined. While things are starting to open up again, in the year off we had staff graduate, and weren’t training new staff. Additionally, with the head supervisor leaving, the pool doesn’t have enough staff to run lessons.

I want to thank all of the wonderful people I met during my 6 years at the Logan Pool. I truly will miss the job and the people. My time at the pool taught me so many things that I’m able to use in my professional and every day life. I’m not too far away though! I now teach at Spence Elementary! I’m so grateful to still be in La Crosse and doing the thing that I love, teaching. 😊
