It's that time again! Our annual Family & Friends Day Outreach Event is scheduled for:

📅 Saturday, June 13, 2026
⏰ 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 Gregg-Clarke Park – Small Pavilion (Across from the Pool)
1231 W Center St, Kyle, TX 78640

This is one of our signature outreach events where we come together to spread love, promote CommUNITY, and remind people that EVERYONE MATTERS.

We are currently seeking:
🎯 Volunteers to assist with children's games and activities
🎈 Balloon artists
🏰 Jumpy house sponsors
🪑 Table and chair sponsors
🎁 Donations of children's prizes, candy, and toys
🥩 Donations of meat
🥗 Donations of sides and fruit salad
🧊 Donations of ice and drinks
🍴 Donations of forks, spoons, and napkins

We are also excited to offer
✂️ FREE Hair Cuts from Will the Experienced Barber!

If you would like to volunteer, donate, sponsor, or help in any way, please let me know. Together we can make this a fun, safe, and impactful event for families throughout our community.

May I Encourage You Today?

Have you ever worked hard for something, prayed about it, prepared for it, and still heard the word “no”?

Recently, I received another “no.”🥲
And if I’m honest, I have seen so many “no’s” over the years that I’ve honestly lost count.

No to opportunities.
No to proposals.
No to partnerships.
No to things I truly believed would move forward.

But instead of becoming discouraged, I had to remind myself of something powerful:
Every “no” simply means I’m one step closer to the right “yes.”

A “no” is not a reflection of your value. I know what I bring to the table, and I trust that the right doors will recognize it.

Not arrogance. Just confidence built through prayer, experience, perseverance, and faith.
Because the truth is… it only takes one yes. A God yes.

One yes can open a door no man can shut.
One yes can change the trajectory of your life.
One yes can connect you to the right people.
One yes can launch the vision God placed inside of you.
One yes can create opportunities you never imagined.
So, as I speak to myself today, I speak to you. Don’t allow rejection to make you quit.

Sometimes God uses closed doors to redirect us, refine us, protect us, and prepare us for what truly has your name attached to it.

Keep applying as God leds.
Keep building
Keep serving.
Keep praying.
Keep trusting God.

And may I encourage you today… when your “yes” finally comes, you’ll understand why every other door had to remain closed.

“See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it...” Revelation 3:8 NKJV

May I Encourage You Today?

Your time, your effort, and your presence matter too. Stop pouring endlessly into people who only expect from you what they are unwilling to give in return. Relationships, friendships, support, and connection should never flow only one way.

The Word reminds us, “To have friends, one must himself be friendly” (Proverbs 18:24 NKJV). Healthy relationships require mutual care, honor, effort, and respect. It’s okay to set boundaries and recognize when you are always the one showing up, checking in, supporting, encouraging, and making the effort while others simply receive.

Protect your peace, value your presence, and never feel guilty for expecting reciprocity. If they constantly invite you to their events but ghost you when it’s time to support yours, pay attention.
Presence matters. Effort matters. Support matters.

Remember, God did not create you to be constantly drained. The work you do is valuable too. The right people will appreciate your heart, reciprocate your kindness, and value you just as much as you value them. In this season, find people who value reciprocity. 🤍
