Til next year!

Another dominant weekend at the South Texas JO’s. We didn’t bring a full squad, but the ones who stepped in carried themselves like a full team and then some.

6-0 Undefeated
5 unanimous decisions
1 stoppage.

That’s not luck—that’s preparation, discipline, and heart showing up when it matters.

I couldn’t be prouder! Every round, every fight, they showed what we’ve been building in the gym, and the part that says the most? Every single one of them was right back in the gym the very next day.

That mindset is what separates good from great.

We’ve got a big summer ahead, and next time, we’re bringing the whole team. 🥊

South Texas Junior Olympic Gold for Jayden and Lilliana Hernandez!

Big congrats to Jayden, our hardest worker in the gym, for putting together two strong wins this weekend and taking the Junior 110 lb division 🥇

Shoutout to Lilly, “The Beauty Who’s A Beast,” for claiming the Bantam 75 lb division! Even while not feeling 100%, you stepped up, competed, and brought home gold 🥇

Next stop: Wichita, Kansas — where they’ll represent STABA on the big stage at the National Junior Olympics. Let’s keep it rolling 🥊🔥

South Texas Junior Olympic Gold for Mr. HUH 🥇

One of the most respectful fighters in the gym. All that hard work day in and day out paid off—he stepped in, got two wins on the weekend, and secured Gold with authority.

Proud of the progression and even more excited for what’s ahead. The future is bright. 🥊💪

Congrats Zealand 🥊🔥💪

First Gold Medalist of the South Texas Junior Olympic Tournament — Jake Franco by RSC! 🥇🥊

Huge congratulations on the stoppage and bringing home the tournament win. The grind you put in day in and day out never goes unnoticed—and tonight it showed in a big way. Proud of you, keep leveling up!

Another strong weekend of boxing in SA! Big thanks to Espinosa Boxing for putting on a great show and to Melissa for getting us on the card. Shoutout to all our opponents—nothing but solid, competitive matches all around.

Didn’t get many pictures, but the team showed up and put in work. Now it’s back to the grind as we get ready for the next one 🥊🥊🥊

Another solid weekend of boxing in the books!
We took the trip to SA and handled business the right way. Finished 1-1, but both performances showed exactly what we’re building. Jay came in sharp and controlled, earning a clean, unanimous decision. Hendrix made his debut and wasted no time making noise—earning Fight of the Night in a back-and-forth battle. He scored a big 3rd round knockdown and showed a ton of heart, just edged out on a close split decision. That’s the kind of fight that builds champions.

Nothing but pride in these boys. We don’t chase easy fights—we step in there to grow, to test ourselves, and to get better every single time. Hendrix showed he belongs, and this is just the beginning for him.

Respect to our opponents for bringing it and thank you to Randazzo Boxing for having us on the card. We’ll be back soon… and we’re coming better every time. 💯🥊

Big thank you to Augie for bringing the kids’ belts they earned last weekend in Odessa! The team came ready and performed the way we expect—sharp, tough, and disciplined.

We walked away with the Best Team belt and a big shoutout to Lilly for taking home Best Female Boxer award!

Another great show in the books. We keep working 💪🥊

Proud of our team this weekend. 🥊

We had 4 fighters step into the ring, and every one of them showed heart, discipline, and the willingness to take on tough competition. At our gym, we don’t look for easy bouts — we look for opportunities to grow.

All four fights were quality boxing on both sides. The results: 2 wins and 2 lessons, and both are valuable. Every round, every challenge, and every opponent helps shape better fighters and stronger individuals.

Thank you to Melissa for getting our team on the card and Pastor Art for hosting another great event.

We’re back to work and back in action in two weeks in Odessa, TX.

The mission stays the same: learn, improve, and represent the right way.

Congrats to Jayden and Osiris, and thank you to our opponents for some great competitive bouts. We're back in action later this month on Feb. 28th! 🥊
