God already knows what you need before you ever ask.

So why does Jesus still teach us to pray, "Give us this day our daily bread"?

Because prayer has never been about informing God. It is about trusting Him. Every time we bring our needs to our Father, we choose dependence instead of self reliance and relationship instead of routine.

We often come to God focused on what He can provide, but Jesus reminds us that our greatest need is not simply today's provision. Our greatest need is the One who provides. The daily bread we need most is His presence, His Word, and ultimately Jesus Himself.

That is the invitation of prayer. Not just to receive something from God, but to know Him more.

"Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him." Matthew 6:8

Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM as we continue our How to Pray series and learn what it looks like to seek God above everything else.

Generosity has never been about what we have to give.
It’s about what we’ve already received.

Jesus gave everything for us.
Not partially. Not conditionally. Completely.
So our response isn’t obligation... it’s overflow.

We give our time. Our gifts. Our resources.
Not to earn anything from God, but because we’ve already been given everything in Him.

And somewhere along the way, we discover this:
generosity doesn’t drain life… it multiplies it.

We were made to live open-handed.
Not because we have to give.
But because we get to. 🤍
