Halloween this year has been a real (trick or) treat!

A Halloween costume contest was held to determine who was the spookiest of them all. Participants dressed as their favorite characters from all across pop culture and fiction. Many participants entered only to lose to Spc. Kaitlin Langtry who won the contest dressed as everybody's favorite pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow

Meet Sgt. Kevin Ortiz, Carpentry and Masonry Specialist, serving with the 576th Engineers Utilities Detachment.

Sgt. Ortiz enjoys helping others through his work and looks forward to what will come following his time as a when he returns home.

“I chose this job because I enjoy this kind of work and love helping others,” said Ortiz. “This kind of work can help me gain valuable work experience to help propel my civilian career."

Soldiers from the 363D Engineer Battalion, Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC) operating with the 340th Engineer Construction Company (ECC) continued horizontal construction projects within the 363D EN BN Area of Engineer Operations at the Logistic Support Area (LSA). The 363D EN BN Soldiers continue to be the Engineer Subject Matter Experts in Theater and continue to master their craft using all available Engineer equipment.

The 363D Engineer Battalion has been busy since our last post! We’ve been activated in support of Operation Spartan Shield (O.S.S.) and Operation Inherent Resolve (O.I.R.). The Battalion has been making long strides since we arrived on ground. We look forward to catching you up on all of our accomplishments and spotlighting our great Soldiers!
