We recently gathered for our annual KPD Awards Banquet, a special evening dedicated to recognizing the outstanding employees who make our department such an incredible place to serve. It was a night filled with celebration, fellowship, and appreciation for the people who help keep our Klein Family safe every day.

Our Employee of the Year Awards, voted on by KPD employees, were presented to:
🏆 Officer of the Year: Ronnie Walker
🏆 Supervisor of the Year: Montoya Jones
🏆 Rookie of the Year: Leo Anders
🏆 Campus Guard of the Year: Lesley Bazan
🏆 Dispatcher of the Year: Lindsey Cassel (via phone, she was working! 😊 )
🏆 Crossing Guard of the Year: Glenn Frick
🏆 Civilian of the Year: Cheyanne Plummer

We also had the privilege of recognizing Kathy Flannelly with the Spirit of KPD Award for her unwavering support, generosity, and dedication to our department. Brian Marr received the Chief's Award in recognition of his years of service, commitment, and countless contributions to KPD. Officer Bruce Palacios received the Lifesaving Award for actions that made a critical difference in a time of need.

Thank you to Campus Guard Raphiel for capturing the memories as our photographer, Klein ISD Food Service for serving a delicious dinner, the Klein Oak Floral Design class for creating our beautiful centerpieces, and a huge thanks to our Community Engagement Team for organizing such a wonderful event.

Thank you to every member of the KPD family. We are grateful for the opportunity to spend time together, celebrate one another's accomplishments, and recognize the people who make this department exceptional.
