A trip through Allerton gardens on Kauai. The rill fountain in the Mermaid Room was inspired by an Italian design. Poured in place. The sound of the quiet spills in the fountain are repeated at 50 seconds per minute, to match a relaxed heartbeat in a deliberate cadence. A beautiful and massive property with orchards of unique fruit species and rare trees throughout. The fig trees started from 1 gal pots are now close to 80 ft and would be taller without past hurricanes passing through. Also, the film location for Jurassic Park ( the Dino eggs were located here!) as well as Pirates of the Caribbean.

Capturing summer at our Capitol Hill clients' home. Merging modern lines with a classic Tudor home through a focal arbor and bespoke tile screens. Thanks to our talented colleagues who helped make this project come to life.

Spring is popping all over our clients garden. Going into year two! Nice to have an avid gardener stewarding this space. Growing all imaginable fruits and flowers from seed and start. Looking forward to seeing her magic this summer.

Planting day part 1 for this new construction waterfront home.
A native planted shoreline now installed. The fern grotto will be installed in the undercover space after our patio goes in next. This will be fun space for the homeowners when they need some shade or a break from any raindrops. A swing is coming to hang in the front.

We are always intentional in preserving the character of a space and in this project we will restore the original pond w raised Japanese maple growing inside. Also restored the existing shoreline juniper to beautiful sculpted trees by the masterful .
