Mlue, as it turns out, is the exact feeling of a space where blue has been used with just enough depth, just enough quiet, to become something harder to name than a color on a paint swatch.

What drew us to this home was not just its architecture, but the opportunity to create something far more personal.
Inspired by the nostalgia of Indian monsoons and the serenity of the Pacific Northwest, Monsoon Memories layers rich color, sculptural forms, tactile textiles, and moments of quiet theatricality throughout the home.
Deep plum tones anchor the living room like dusk after rainfall, while velvets, warm woods, handwoven textures, and softly filtered light create a sense of intimacy and warmth.
We highlighted the architecture by leaning into emotion and atmosphere. Dramatic curves soften the formality of the rooms, statement lighting descends like jewelry within the space, and every material was selected to evoke nostalgia, richness, and a feeling of being enveloped.
Today, the home feels calmer, richer, and deeply reflective of the family that lives here.
