For the longest time I thought failure had a direct correlation to my worth as a person. That I was somehow “less” if I failed. It weighed on me and had an impact on my decisions. I wanted everything to be perfect all the time and left no room for errors. But no one ever reaches their goals or their dreams when they aren’t taking risks and pushing themselves further than they have before. I had to make some drastic mindset changes in my life and these horses have been a big part of those changes. I’ve had to fall on my face, fail over and over again, and lean into the belief that I would come out the other side better. There is beauty in being unafraid to fail. I know that if I keep picking myself up that eventually I’ll be where I could only dream of being before. The only time we ever truly fail is when we give up. And let me tell you, no one is keeping track of your failures, and it doesn’t make you any less than anyone else. Don’t be afraid to fail because those failures are just the recipe notes for success. Keep pushing my friends, keep putting yourself in uncomfortable situations and finding grace and learning from the failures…because you are worth it!
