Today is National Rescue Dog Day, and I couldn’t think of a better time to share Thor’s story. ❤️

A few weeks ago, our family rescued Thor from the animal shelter after learning he was in danger of being euthanized. From the moment we brought him home, he has been nothing but love. He’s the sweetest dog and absolutely loves being outside playing with our other dogs, watching over our ducks, and protecting the property like he’s always belonged here.

Every single time he sees one of us, he gets the biggest grin on his face, starts wagging his tail nonstop, and does this little dance with his paws that will absolutely make your day. It’s hard to believe such an amazing dog was so close to not getting a second chance.

Rescue dogs truly know when they’ve been saved, and I honestly think Thor rescued us right back. 🐾
