Shop Tech shall work on the shop floor assisting Machinist and other Shop Techs. Other responsibilities, authorities, and duties of the Shop Tech are as follows:

* Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP’s), repair guidelines, and quality standards.
* Ensure a safe work environment.
* Deburring connections
* Blowing out pipe
* Ensuring ID of pipe is clear of debris
* Painting upsets or toll joints black
* Stenciling of connections after Quality Manager approval
* Movement of foam plugs
* Recording of pipe serial numbers
* Phosphating process
* Applying proper thread coating
* Securing thread protectors
* General cleanliness and organization
Shop maintenance
* Phosphate maintenance
* Tally pipe
* End Drift
* Operating skid steer and other machinery

Bakken Thread Repair has opened up an Administration Support position in our Killdeer, ND office. Administration Support is responsible for providing support to our Management Team by reviewing, gathering, and filing data relevant to Customer products. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, has an eye for detail, and is able to effectively communicate within and outside our company.

Responsibilities:

- Provide support to Job Coordinator, Quality Manager, and Shop Managers. Assisting Management Team in day to day activities
- Manage on-site safety program. Run and document daily safety meetings. Maintain a culture of safety, help ensure that employees and adequate training and safety equipment, while enforcing all safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate day-to-day routine work activities with Shop Manager and Job Coordinator. This includes logging pipe, counting pipe, help maintain pipe inventory. Track Customer property in the manufacturing process. Gather and file all shipment and quality documents for each Customer order.
- Maintain physical inventory items; couplings and thread protectors.
- Help yard technicians maintain a clean and organized yard.
- Maintain strong morale with all Company team members.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent
1-year oilfield experience preferred
