Middle of the night Margarita Primer…. Please! Past few months I’ve had some of the BEST & WORST MARGARITAS ever! It’s a great and basic Cocktail! Recipe from Patty Doe Yaniz who stole it from the FULL MOON ROYAL BARKEEP DENNIS WALLEY. In equal parts: fresh lime juice, Tequila, Triple Sec! PERIOD !!!! EQUAL PARTS!!!! Then you can play after that! Switch Tri -sec with Cointreau, or Gran. Rebecca Balcer adds a small splash of OJ. Ivette, excellent bartender at The Cheesecake Factory in Dolphin mall adds a little Gran and a little Cointreau in place of the Tri -sec. We prefer 21 seeds Tequila. A couple of barkeeps at Cheeca Lodge in Islamorada add Cukes and so much fresh jalapeño That first time I had one I stirred it with my finger and inadvertently rubbed my eyelid, to which I had to hold an ice cube while ordering a second drink! SO! Cilantro, Agave , pineapple, etc. Etc. Etc. Fine! You start with 3 ingredients : Fresh lime Juice, Tequila, some orange Liquor! Thank You! That’s All!
