SHOUT TO ALL MY JANKSTER MAMAS! I LOST MINE ALMOST TEN YEARS AGO AND THESE LADIES HAVE STEPPED IN. THERE ARE A FEW MORE THAT I DON’T HAVE PICTURES OF, BUT I LOVE YALL SO MUCH.

BYE BYE APRIL. I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S ALREADY MAY! ONE MORE CHILL LITTLE WEEK BEFORE THINGS START TO HEAT UP. CATCH ME ON BOTH CAROLINA COASTS. I GOT ONE FOR MY SOUTHIES AT CHIMICHANGA LLAMA, THEN A RETURN TO THE NORTH MYRTLE BEACH RV RESORT AND DRY DOCK MARINA (the longest name of a venue I’ll ever play) BEFORE HITTING A DOUBLE ON SATURDAY AND WRAPPING IT ALL UP AT THE BARGE IN CAROLINA BEACH SUNDAY.

Ps. This week’s photo has personal significance, so I’ll elaborate: I recently discovered an album called “Awakening” by the Japanese singer-songwriter Hiroshi Sato. The album features another singer, Wendy Matthews, and the entire thing is simply amazing. If my heart’s true romantic vibe had a sound, it would be what this record sounds like; beautiful, groovy, sincere, sophisticated, 1982.
